I write crime, horror, fantasy and romance. My 90+ novels, anthologies,short stories, poems and songs have been published in Australia, US and the UK.

My work includes vampire novels, erotic spy adventures, het and queer romance, fantasy, horror and crime fiction, traditional Holmesian mysteries, and Holmes/Watson romances.

Music

Always interested in music, from early piano lessons to the writing of lyrics, I’ve been creating music again recently through my Duo Ex Machina series and Kitty and Cadaver (Clan Destine Press)

Three of my works have been shortlisted for the Aurealis Awards, Australia’s premier speculative fiction awards:

Ditmar Awards

The Ditmars are another high profile Australian spec fic award, usually presented at the National SF convention each year.

  • In 1992, Inconsequential Parallax, the fanzine Narrelle co-published with her husband, Tim Richards, was nominated for best fanzine.
  • In 2024, This Fresh Hell, which Narrelle co-edited with Katya de Becerra, was nominated for Best Collection at the Ditmar awards.
