I’m so pleased to announced that I wrangled the intricacies of publishing a paperback throught Draft2Digital and can now offer The Swordmaster’s Secret and Other Stories – a collection of short Holmes/Watson stories set after the end of The Adventure of The Colonial Boy – as a hard copy book!
It’s a slender but quite elegant volume, I think. And of course it follows the course of Holmes and Watson’s life, cases and romance in the next decades of their lives.
It begins with the eponymous “The Swordmaster’s Secret” and goes on to include “A Less than Ideal Gentleman” (when they meet Oscar Wilde); “God Rest ye Merry, Gentlemen” (a Christmas story); “The Case of the Vinegar Valentine” (Valentine’s Day); “Winter Ice” (a very cold case!); “Bored” (a 221b ficlet); and “The Beekeepers’ Children” (first published in Scar Tissue and Other Stories).
