I have released a new tiny ebook of 221B ficlet stories – The Haunting of Baker Street.
These wee fics were first published at my Patreon, and together they form the whole story of how Sherlock Holmes and John Watson come to haunt Baker Street and how, in the 21st century, two new tenants – girlfriends Caitlyn and Martie, end up helping them solve mysteries!
It’a available in ebook only, but I’m writing The Further Hauntings of Baker Street so I might produce a combined volume later!
The Blurb
Even legends pass away – but they don’t necessarily pass on!
Now, over 100 years after their deaths, Sherlock Holmes and his biographer and beloved, John Watson, haunt the space in Baker Street where they became famous.
The new building has trouble keeping tenants until Caitlyn and her girlfriend Martie move in. They agree to deal with the tributes to the famous duo left at their door, but they didn’t bargain on dealing with their ghosts, or with helping Holmes and Watson continue to solve the mysteries and crimes contained in the curious letters still sent to 221B Baker Street!
This collection of connected stories – each exactly 221 words long with the last word beginning with B – follows Sherlock and John into their post-demise career, with the help of modern sweethearts, Caitlyn and Martie.

Reviews
“A charming short piece from one of my favourite storytellers. I love how Narrelle uses the 221B format. It should feel like a limitation imposed on a story, but in Narrelle’s hands it blooms into a wonderful clarity.” ~ Julie Bozza, Goodreads.
“I love this version of Holmes and Watson continuing beyond their deaths. The ficlet idea is charming and so is the storytelling.” ~ Suzy Cooper, Goodreads
“What fun! I love Narrelle Harris’ ‘Johnlock’ stories, and this one has Holmes & Watson haunting their old rooms at 221B Baker Street, upsetting various tenants with poltergeist activity, and finally finding a receptive audience in lesbian couple Martie and Caitlyn […] Wonderful stuff, and all very cleverly written in a series of ‘221B’ format short stories.” ~ Rosie B, Amazon
